RE: [Spring Eventide], Haiku and Photography
Very nice pic! Flooding pastel all over!
Yep! I like your responses to that blacklist too!
You and @mariannewest were very awesome, clear and sharp in your reasoning and perception.
He did have some respect for your. I was brushed aside and rather intimidated by his response. He was not a kind person inside but full of emotions and bitterness. I had a brush with him last year during the preparation of SteemFest4. He never thanked me and the Thai community for warning him about the logo which used the image of the Buddha as being illegal and wrong in our culture.
Luckily a Western blogger told him about her experience with the police for having a Buddha image around her neck as a decoration. Only then did they agree to change the logo. We were completely ignored despite our group leader’s offer to help. So, we all boycotted the meetup which was incredibly expensive for working people. Only the Thai person who refused to become a member of our community did join the meetup, it’s more profitable to be whales’ friend. From then on, our people started to drop out and now more are powering down. Even our group leader is powering down, I think I will have no Thai friends left on this platform very soon.
I let bygones be bygones. I like posting about my country and it’s good to practice my writing skill.
This platform has made it possible for me to have new friends from abroad and local Thais. We did have small meetup long time ago. I took my friends who came for Stermfest4 for sightseeing around town; it was fun and exhausting.
Hope that good things will happen to retain more people to stay on. Thank you very much for your attention.
Best.
Thank you, Kamichan:) It was a stressful moment for everyone I think. In his defence, he has since changed his stance and admitted he may have over-reacted. That means a lot to me. Some people did recently lose a lot of money and he was one of them. I completely understand his point of view and have behaved similarly in the past for a lot less. We all get overwhelmed and lose our Way from time to time. I am not a Buddhist but a philosophical Taoist. Taoism and Buddhism share many philosophical ideas and practice(meditation). We are all learning and doing the best we can. I admire his ability to change his mind and see the side of another. That shows an evolving character. We cannot ask more from another than that:)
Thank you very much for your kind and compassionate comment.
All things change through time, nothing stays permanent, according to Buddhist teaching. We reap what we sow, it’s similar to karmic law.
So, wait and see what the future will bring.
Have a nice day.
