RULES OF ENGAGEMENT IN SERVING GOD
Hello, welcome to my blog. Today we are going to see the basic rules of engagement in our daily service to God. Let it be known to you that it our responsibility to serve God and it pays to serve God, no one in the Bible served God effectively that was not rewarded or blessed. So, for you to serve God and get blessed, you must engage these basic rules.
(1) Willingness: It's a state of being willing.For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have
A situation where you do something in house of God at your will. If you are a believer that always wait to be compelled or push to render any services to God then you got it all wrong. Always make your service to God comes out of a willing heart. That's the way to serve and get blessed.
(2) Joyfulness This is an expression of total gladness and satisfaction in your service to God.. Many believers have not yet come to the point of enjoying their service to God. Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving] David says i am glad when they say let us go to the house of the Lord. Anytime you are happy in your place of service, you get rid off problems and your mind is opened up for God's blessings.
(3) diligently (heb.11:6) But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out] It's a state whereby a Christian is completely dedicated and sold out to his/her responsibility to God. As a believer, you must come to the point that you grow above excuses in your place of service, making sure your responsibility in Church is carried out successful.
(4) sacrificially You must serve God whether it is comfortable or not. Every true service to God must come with sacrifice. You don't hold anything back beginning with your time, strength, money and substance
(5) wholeheartedness Is when you serve God with all your heart, without
pretending. Stop doing eyes services. For sees our heart and rewards us.
In summary, your service to God must be done willingly, joyfully, diligently, wholeheartedly and sacrificially. Apply these basic rules to your mode of service to God and your life will not remain the same again.

Joy means different things in the Old Testament compare to the New Testament. In the Old Testament it means happiness. It the New Testament it's a fruit of the Spirit.
We should give what we've decide to give.
(2 Corinthians 9:7 NIV) Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
