The dairy game: preparing future food storage by planting - 22/05/2026

Hello everyone! I'm @edysly. I hope everyone is doing well. Peace be unto everyone.
My today was so hectic. I went to bed last night with alot of thought of how handled activities today. The first on the list was to go to farm very early in the morning after my chores. But before then, i zipped garri to have enough strength to work because i was already hungry and didn't want to eat something heavy.

I went to my farm which I cleared a week ago. Because of school and my side hustle, I couldn't work on my farm for a week. I went there this morning to see what I can do. On reaching there, I saw weed covering the area that was cleared. I became tired and murmured this is the reason I don't like farming, weed doesn't care. But when I consider the present economic status of my state, I advised and encouraged myself not to give up.

I started by weeding the fresh weed that just sprouting. I was thinking of which other method of farming I can employ before planting my cassava. On a normal, I will just dig a very small pit and place my cassava stick/stem I cut and cover the sand. I thought of the idea of molding it like I want to plant yam.

This method would help the weed not to grow so fast because the ground has been tilled before molding the cassava rigde. The only difficult part of this method is that, it requires extra strength but it's actually the best.

The part I planted before is growing so well and I'm glad I'm finishing the remaing portion. It is said, No food for lazy man, and I'm taking it personally. I have hope I 6⃣ month or there about to come that I'm not going to spend so much to buy foodstuff. That is why I'm planting now for future purposes.
