The Diary Game: A Day on the Family Bean Farm 🌱[17/09/2026]

welcome to another episode of my dairy session I still remain your @madoshi, Today I want to share how I spent my day out on our family bean farm, checking on the crops, doing a bit of extra work, and just enjoying the simple joy of watching things grow. The morning started quiet and sunny, so I decided it was the perfect time to walk down to check on our beans. The field is surrounded by tall trees, and as I walked in, the young bean plants were spreading out beautifully across the rows, their fresh green leaves catching the morning light. Some corn stalks from the last planting season were still standing here and there among the rows, dry and no longer useful, so I made up my mind to clear a few of them out while I was there.

Checking the Progress

Walking in the farm, I could really appreciate how far the beans had come. The plants had healthy, broad leaves, some already showing a few insect nibbles here and there, but overall looking strong and full of life. Comparing it to what it looked like a few weeks back, the growth was honestly impressive. Rows and rows of beans stretched across the farm, all pushing up steadily from the reddish-brown soil.

Clearing Out the Old Corn Sticks.

While I was going round inspecting the beans, I noticed several old, dried-up corn stalks left over from the previous crop still standing in the middle of the bean rows. I decided this was a good time to pull them out, since they were no longer serving any purpose and could only get in the way of the beans as they continued to grow and spread. I picked several of them, roots and all, and cleared them off to the side of the farm. It felt good to put in that extra bit of work, knowing it would give the young bean plants more room and less competition for nutrients and sunlight.

A Moment to Reflect

After clearing a good number of the sticks, I took a short break under a nearby tree, just taking in the view of the farm and the surrounding bush. There's something calming about standing in the middle of a growing field, seeing the work of past planting seasons finally paying off. I couldn't help smiling at how well the beans were doing it's the kind of thing that makes all the early morning walks and hard work worth it.

Wrapping Up the Day

By the time I was done, I felt really satisfied. Not only did I get to check on the progress of the family farm, but I also left it a little cleaner and better prepared for the beans to keep thriving. Farming teaches patience, and days like this remind me why I enjoy it watching something small grow into something full and green, row after row.
