This small backyard has been fully maximised with good plants

Good day to all the people of steemit.

I hope everyone is having a great day. Unfortunately like I was talking about in my previous video, we are in rainy season and yesterday, some places got flooded due to the insane rains. Thankful to god that we are safe and sound.

Today I will share with you some nice plants.

Many people believe that you must have a huge land in order to grow sufficient amount of food. That thought process is normal though because of the nature of plants to take up space. But it's not always the case especially if you are a beginner farmer.

A small compound like this one can provide a lot. Just take a look at this passion fruit I'm showing to you. The passion fruit plant is supported by the wall and barbed wire. So it doesn't occupy any space on the floor because it grows upward, which leaves more space for the other crops.

You will also notice that there is a grapevine. Close to that place there is also soursop and banana.

The thing I like about this garden is that the space is well used, but there is a lesson.

If you have a crop that remains for a very long period of time without providing any results then it is better if you change it.

A pineapple plant can remain in the soil for years and it wouldn't give you anything.

For that reason crops such as sweet potatoes can be better options for you. Because those crops grow fast and cover the soil.

You can also see some young plants which grow in the cups.

This is one method to prepare new crops before planting them in the soil. A garden becomes successful not by luck.

Patience, wise decisions and proper use of space will make a garden successful. A small compound is capable of giving a lot if it is managed properly.

That's why I would advice anyone that proper management is definitely the thing that you should learn before doing farming.
