10 out-of-this-world images of Earth taken by Landsat satellites

Our observations: 

Having read this article and pondering over the stunning images the thought occurred to us that it will only be a matter of time before we will have a manned orbiting laboratory taking videos of the earth and streaming them live to earth to a science museum where people can get to watch the videos and hear someone describing the scenes live. 

With private companies entering the space race, such a scenario is a real possibility in the near future. For people who cannot afford to go to space to experience live aerial views of the earth, it would be a great attractive proposition.
