The Netherlands’ Stance on Cryptocurrencies — DailyCoin

Our observations and notes: 

The stance taken by the Netherlands viz a viz cryptocurrencies is comparatively much harder than most other countries. 

So far countries from around the world have shown widely different approach to cryptocurrencies with a few of them banning them outright and a few others embracing cryptocurrencies whole heartedly and the bulk of them in between. This is to be expected given the economic and social conditions of these countries and their appetite for crypto related risks. Such diversity in their approach to acceptance of cryptocurrency in their financial system would make it quite difficult for these countries to come together to have a common approach to cryptocurrencies. 

Be that as it may, countries such as the G7 could easily agree on a common approach because they share more or less the same concerns and have more to lose without a common approach.
