RE: SLC S28 Week1 - SteemitTTD - Subsidies
Task 1 - 2/2
No, I didn’t make a mistake with the subsidy settings — I intentionally set a high multiplier and extended the subsidy duration. Usually, subsidies are not that large.
Indeed, trains are the best option for transportation.
Yes, that’s true — I noticed the same thing: if a subsidy specifies transporting passengers from city B to city A, then it will be counted only when passengers are delivered from B to A. But after that, the income seems to be the same during the subsidy period — whether it’s from B to A or from A to B.

The highest number of subsidies you managed to activate simultaneously is six — that’s a very good result. I see you counted a total of 31 subsidies, but what I meant was the number of subsidies active at the same moment.
Task 2 &3 4+4 / 8
I see that completing these tasks was no longer difficult for you — I don’t even have anything to add!
Here’s what I’ve learned: the more you extract from the mine, the more its productivity grows. Yes, each time the game determines whether productivity will rise or fall, but the probability of growth is higher when your rating is higher.
So I’ll give you (and everyone else) a personal challenge — upgrade the mine and see whether it’s actually possible.
Overall, thank you for the great report and well-done work.
I didn’t have time to play, so I only logged in today, and if I had been building only trucks I probably wouldn’t have caught up with you — so I built trains instead (this will be covered in lessons 2–3).
