dear @dayleeo -- fog cleared, I believe it’s monday, so let me welcome you to april, nearly anyway :)

Good morning love ;)

It’s been a while since I wrote you a ‘dear dayleeo’ blog post and it think it’s a good time to start things back up again, especially because I made a promise to myself because of hivedontmind.com to actually start populating these community groups with posts.

It’s been a crazy old start to the year eh? Talk about twenty twenty vision eh, the good old 20-20 — eyes firmly wide open looking out into the world, I’m thankful for so many things that it’s easier to focus on those than the obvious negatives.

I’m thankful every single day that we have what we have today in terms of internet and connectivity, that even thou we are thousands of miles apart this time for an extended period that I know you are with loved ones and family — not stuck at border control or in some airport and then locked down in quarantine for a few weeks.

Don’t get me wrong here, I’ve thought about it many times to try and investigate maybe getting that big old boat across and try and deal with the crazy notion of being on the ocean for thirty days but then I think of lack of potential comms and then being out of the news loop when arriving.

Can you imagine what that might be like to be currently out of the loop about the world events as you head towards land after thirty days at sea, getting stuck in the port, lots of people in hazmat suits and being told I need to isolate on arrival — still thought it about it thou.

I’d like to get back to podcasting again with you at some point but I know right now we are still very much in recalibration and that’s fine. I did wake up with my business and video making face on this morning, I think I just cleared the fog of my mind and accepted where I’m at and what I’m doing.

I think the hardest thing to shake was the ‘what’s the point’ when I kept on coming back to making video tutorials or writing a blog post. It was so easy to cascade back to nothing is worth doing because the world is X and things are crap because of Y. . .. so glad to have shaken that off.

Anyway, you just answered and woke up in our little snug room so I’m heading over there to bring you softly in for a landing into monday and I’ll share this link with you as well.

Know you are loved, always have, always will be, I don’t just consider you my partner but someone who even if we were just friends who knew each other I know I’d have your back and you would have mine. I’m lucky to have had my ‘made in heaven’ film moment ;)
