Arreglo de emergencia - Emergency work
Here in the southern hemisphere we are a few days away from entering winter, the temperature has dropped significantly and it is time to turn on the stove, as we say here in Argentina, although I have seen that elsewhere that noun refers to the appliance for cooking. or kitchen, that is also what we say around here.
The problem occurred when trying to turn it on, there was no way and then I began to investigate the value of a hot / cold air conditioning unit. It is a project that I have been delaying for a long time since with the stove and the air conditioning only cold we were good, however here electricity is significantly cheaper than gas therefore the idea has been in my head for at least a couple of seasons.
The cost of the equipment is significant but what led me to doubt was the cost of the installation which is approximately equal to one third of the equipment.
So I took the stove apart and after a couple of hours of protesting, assembling and disassembling it two or three more times, I got it to work.
That way the hot / cold AA project will be postponed for at least one more season and it will depend on how my finances are for next summer.
Aquí en el hemisferio sur estamos a pocos días de ingresar al invierno, la temperatura ha bajado significativamente y es hora de encender la estufa, como le decimos aquí en la Argentina, aunque he visto que en otras partes ese sustantivo se refiere al artefacto para cocinar o cocina, también así le decimos por aquí.
El problema se produjo al intentar encenderla, no hubo forma y entonces comencé a investigar sobre el valor de un equipo de aire acondicionado frío/calor. Es un proyecto que vengo demorando desde hace tiempo ya que con la estufa y el aire acondicionado solo frío veníamos bien, sin embargo aquí la electricidad es significativamente más barata que el gas por lo tanto la idea ronda en mi cabeza al menos desde hace un par de temporadas.
El costo del equipo es significativo pero lo que me llevó a dudar fue el costo de la instalación que es aproximadamente igual a una tercera parte del equipo.
Entonces desarmé la estufa y luego de un par de horas de protestar, armarla y desarmarla dos o tres veces más, logré que funcionara.
De esa manera el proyecto del AA frío/calor se postergará al menos una estación más y dependerá de como se encuentren mis finanzas para el próximo verano.
