Adele already achieved success on her debut, but she became a superstar through her sophomore album "21". The lead single off the album "Rolling in the Deep" became a number 1 hit, and the second single, the piano ballad "Someone like You" solidified her status. It became a number 1 worldwide including the US Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles chart, which at the latter, it's already 8x platinum.
