The venue also hosts cultural events like concerts, literary presentations, and exhibitions, fostering a vibrant artistic community.

My trip to Giraffe Café for the semi-finals of Faith Hope Love, the musical contest organized by Giraffe Café and the Giraffe Foundation, was an unforgettable adventure. As I arrived at the cozy venue, buzzing with excitement, I could feel the creative energy.

Each participant, including me, was preparing to perform their original song live on stage, hoping to win the audience's votes and secure a place in the finals.

Cameras streamed every moment to Facebook and YouTube, sharing our art with the world.

The café’s warm ambiance, adorned with books and art, felt like the perfect backdrop for such a soulful event.

I was both nervous and thrilled as my turn approached, watching fellow contestants share their unique melodies and lyrics.

The audience, a mix of café patrons and music lovers, cheered passionately, creating an uplifting atmosphere. After the concert, the performances were individually shared online, amplifying our exposure and connecting us with fans.

This competition wasn’t just about winning—it was about celebrating talent and fostering connections. Giraffe Café’s mission, supported by its volunteers and the foundation, resonated deeply with me. I left the stage with a heart full of gratitude, knowing I had contributed to its inspiring mission of nurturing art and culture.

Here’s a rhymed translation of a part of your song Dnes (Today):

You kissed the day, the snow so white,
Your steps froze silent in the light,
By the old threshold, meetings past,
By the shore where partings last.
Today, no road leads back, it's clear,
Perhaps our days are numbered here.
Today, no road leads back,
Is salvation near?
You kissed the day, the snow so white,
Your steps froze silent in the light,
By the old threshold, meetings past,
By the shore where partings last.
But empty words inside you cry,
Perhaps you fail to realize why:
The rain is rusted, stained with fate,
The day, a chance, arrives too late.
The Lord speaks gently, voice so kind,
Forgiveness flowing, unconfined.
No power stands above this call—
To give, the greatest strength of all.
Today, no road leads back, it's clear,
Perhaps our days are numbered here.
Today, no road leads back,
Yet we are saved
You kissed the day and snow so white,
Your steps froze pure, a fleeting sight.
Today, no road leads back, it's clear,
Perhaps our days are numbered here.
Today, no road leads back,
Yet we are all saved
