Will be using Moringa more often now

I have a moringa tree just a couple of houses down from where I live, two compounds, two storeys, and for the last 3 years, I walked by it thinking it was just a boring old tree, just the leaves everywhere, the regular kind of thing.

It was about 3 weeks ago that I found out my blood pressure was a little bit high when I went for a checkup. I was not really sick, but it was still high enough that I had to put my Chin Chin chips down and start paying more attention to what I was putting in my body.

Moringa leaves are really good. The nutrient breakdown in moringa leaves is like someone was trying to overdo it seriously. They have iron, calcium and vitamin C, as well as protein all in one leaf, and people on my street are just bagging them up and burning them, which kind of bothers me a little now that I know it's more helpful than I ever thought.

Dried and powdered moringa leaves can be added to soups, porridge and whatever your children are eating before they get to school, and fresh moringa leaves can be used in stews, too but just make sure you don’t over cook them because they get really bitter when you do. I didn't like the results when my aunt left me to do it myself.

Fresh moringa leaves have something of an earthy flavour. I just found out from my upstairs neighbour that she grows moringa in a bucket on her balcony and puts it in her eggs for breakfast.

What I’ve started to realize is that a lot of things we need are right there, not far away, even almost common, but yet for some reason we continue to reach for supplements in bright packages. The moringa tree really does not need to impress us, but I think we should be at least a little bit. I know I am. And with the blood pressure, I'm already feeling much better and I'll be going for another checkup next week Monday.

Hello friend, moringa leave is truly a life saver and agree with everything you have said in this article about it. At first I thought it's was just a normal leave behind the balcony of my home but not until my dad started using it to lower his high Blood pressure and the leave worked so well for him and now his B.P status has improved. Although I don't use it for my self but I've seen it's benefits in my father's health.

Oh friend I'm thankful that your Dad BP is better. We have a saying I'm Ghana, the leaf or plant that'll save your life could be something you don't even acknowledge right at your backyard

That's right friend. You did a great job to post that article you did. Keep it up.

Thank you so much dear, this is encouraging for me I'll do more because of you
