Eating oatmeal for dinner is more normal than we think

The last time I ate dinner two nights ago, it was oatmeal, but I wouldn’t call that a healthy meal no. I only made oatmeal because I had nothing left in my cupboard except oatmeal, a slightly overripe banana and peanut butter, which I have been telling myself I'll be finishing it since December last year. Amazingly, it tasted good, I cannot believe I say that, but I had some honey on hand and I ate it slowly sitting on the floor near my window because that's where I usually love to go when I don’t want to think too hard about somethings. Life is too stressful so you need a cool quiet spot to relax your brain for money, economy and relationship pressure.

After eating, I began to wonder if my body would rebel against me, knowing I took oatmeal as a dinner meal and wake me up at 2am with my stomach asking some serious questions about what exactly was going on.

What I found out was that, calorie wise, oatmeal is very dense in calories, the fiber in the oats slows digestion so you don't feel like you're starving an hour after you eat. Oatmeal is also only a breakfast meal according to our (has not been established on a scientific level yet) social eating habits we have just decided as a society that oatmeal is a breakfast meal. I don't even know who's deciding when we should eat what?

How many food rules do you have that you personally have never decided on? I didn't realise that until just now it's so weird now that I think about it. But the groundnut butter made my oatmeal a solid meal and I would highly recommend them combined.
