MY STEPS IN DRAWING VEGETABLES
First step
I started by drawing a carrot. This I got by drawing the shape of a carrot, then adding the sketches or marks on its body and finally drawing the stem of the carrot.
Second step
I drew an eggplant. I got this by drawing a long curved like and then I doubled it and joined it together. Then I drew the stem of the eggplant.

Third step
In my third step, I added a broccoli. This I got by drawing the shape of a tree, I drew the leaves in a circular zigzag manner and fir the stems, I drew it in a vertical shape.
Fourth step
I drew a tomato next. This I got by drawing a circular shape and added a stem and a star shape to the stem.

Fifth step
I drew an onion by drawing a kind of oval shape and adding leaf and stem to it. I then drew vertical lines in my onion to make it complete.
Final step in drawing
I drew some gingers. I drew the shape of gingers which was a vertical line but not straight. I added some corners or parts to it, then finally,I drew horizontal lines across my gingers to make it real.

VEGETABLES AND ITS FUNCTIONS
Vegetables is a general name for edible parts of plants, roots, stems and leaves. It is very necessary to our body as it is an essential part of a healthy diet. It contains important nutrients like minerals, vitamins and fiber. It contributes a lot positively to our bodies and it can be found everywhere around us. There are many vegetables example green vegetable, leaf stalk vegetable, fruit and flower vegetable, root vegetable etc, and they all tastes different just as they function differently in our bodies. So let is look at it's functions.
• Vegetables contain natural sugar, glucose, and fructose and these sugar gives us the energy to run our daily activities. These sugar since they are natural do not harm our bodies unlike the artificial sugar.
• Some vegetables contain vitamin C and it boost our immune system or makes it string and able to resist duseases resulting in preventing us from falling sick from time to time.
• Consuming vegetables can protect us from having chronic diseases like diabetes, asthma, etc and lowers cholesterol thereby reducing the risk of heart diseases.
• Eating vegetables like carrot, improves our vision, our skin texture is also improved and we end up not aging fast.
• One of the fastest way of maintaining our weight or losing weight is by eating vegetables.
• Vegetables have cancer fighting antioxidants and these reduce the risk of certain types of cancer in our bodies.
