Hey dear Steemit family. @elsa-queen is back again with a fresh idea, positive vibes and a topic that touches every single one of us the "flood". Today’s blog is not about a personal story. But something much bigger… something that affects nature, communities and future generations. Yes today we are talking about floods.

Flood natural disaster or human negligence?

The one of the most common natural disasters in worldwide is flood. Thousands of people are affected by it every year. Apparently floods are caused by heavy rains and overflowing rivers. But the reality is that humans also play a huge role in it.

Factors such as deforestation, poor drainage systems, unplanned construction and climate change multiply the intensity of floods. When we cut down the trees. The land loses its ability to absorb water. So the water causes havoc.

Effects on environment

It not only cause serious damage to human life. But also to our environment:

• Soil Erosion

• Water Pollution

• Loss of wildlife

• Destruction of vegetation

Effects on human life

Floods are not only water. But a great test for people.
Homes are destroyed, valuables are lost. Sometimes precious lives are lost.
