A seed is a evolutionary miracle of engineering of the biology, miniaturized, self-engineered survival pod. The colossus of metaphor is it. Whether it is a sunflower or a grain of doubt, the main thing of the affair is the same which the potential is closed by.

The Biological Powerhouse

A seed is a bare seed just an embryonic plant and is covered in the outermost layer of protection. It is a designed generational gap one which is meant to withstand the unfavorable environment until it has become favorable to growth.
The seed of the plant is generally made up of three parts:

  • The Embryo: The "baby" plant.
The Endosperm: A food warehouse to activate early development.

The Seed Coat: This is a splintery covering that shields the contents against predators and other elements.
The variety of seeds is inconceivable, the dust-strewn seeds of the orchids to the 40 pound sea coconut. The others are carried with them, others are tied to the hair of the animals, others, such as that which was in sweet fruit, must also be swallowed with, so that they are able to pass to new land.

A Linguistic Anchor
It is not merely the word soil though it is used most in the English language but the word seed. It always nearly supposes a source of something greater.
** In Technology A seed A seed is an initial state of a pseudorandom number generator or the basis of consumers to a novel computer platform.

Finance: First investment: "Seed funding" The initial round of financing will be a seed financing, to be used to establish the foundations of a new business before it becomes incorporated as a corporation.
Sports In Sports: Seeding, it is a method of pre-rating the players in a competition in order to make sure that the most talented players do not enter into competition with one another before the final round.

The Metaphor of Patience.

Probably the best thing about the seed is that it is time correlated. A seed doesn't rush; it waits. There are also seeds which may take decades to germinate and with the occurrence of a wildfire or flood it only germinates. We come to know that that is a rather subtly taught lesson: the best results of human action: that these are the results of human action that have undergone the underground labor before they come to be ever on the surface.

As the physical seed is a seed, as is the idea in our mind, so we are spurred by a seed, that all forests, and all empires, and all good ideas, began small, and solid, and full of hidden life.

Seeds are very delicate and has to be treated and pampered like a baby to be able to get good yeilds which requires a lot of patience as you stated.
