The eagles and hawks that find themselves fighting for supremacy of a house. In the land of Ikenga, located in a faraway area closer to the forest, where various animals, especially bird,s, are found, Eagles and Hawks were the two most unfriendly birds.

Eagles and Hawks started fighting for a house built on top of an eroko tree because the house is big enough to contain several birds and it is on the tallest tree. Eagle was the first to discover the place without seeing the house then Hawk only visited the eroko tree in search of food.

Eagle took his children to the house, in the same way Hawk also brought his own children to the house. It was a rainy evening which they were both looking for shelter. An argument started between the Eagles and the Hawks, where the Eagle threatened to kill and eat the hawk and the hawk being a dangerous bird, stood by his feet and told the Eagles that he could not do anything.

Eagle 🦅 told his children to get inside the house, and the hawk stopped them and told his own children to get inside the house while it was raining the house was getting soaked with water. Eagle then says to the hawk "look if I can't get this house for myself and children you also can't get it". The hawk laughed and said, "In that case let's share the house into two take yours and leave the iroko tree.

The Eagle refused and went there, both forced their way in, and the house collapsed because it was an old grass house that was built by doves a long time ago.
