Eggplant experience

Eggplant, I believe is one of the oddest types of food you could eat. For one, the outside has a shiny appearance which leads you to believe it would taste sweet. When I first tried it, I thought it would taste sweet. To my surprise it does not taste sweet at all. When I tried it, the sensation I experienced was the soft texture, also a bit squishy. I don't think I would ever enjoy it and sometimes I would prefer it if it is not cooked as much.

This one time my mom made a dish that had it in it, and to my amazement, I thought the dish tasted better than the other dishes that had it in it. I think it should be cooked alongside some other food. When it has too much oil, I feel like it has a slippery sensation and I hate it.

I don't hate the skin. But I do believe the interior is easier to consume. If it is cut into smaller pieces, I find that I do not mind eating it as much.

For some it may taste a bit odd and even get a bit of a bitter taste. I have tried to eat it as I do not want to appear cowardly. I have smelled it when it has been grilled and from my experience, I find that the taste and the aroma is very nice. I think the method of preparation does determine how good it is. If there was chicken or rice I wouldn't choose it first but I wouldn't run away from it. I guess it is okay and is not bad. I guess if I was given it I probably wouldn't complain only if it was given to me with something good.
