Peeling machine for potatoes and yam

Good day to all Steemians, lovers of agriculture and Speem Video community. I'm back with another agricultural video. This one is not necessary a tip to grow crops but a review of a device that is used to clean the crops after a successful harvest.

A single farmer can easily take his potatoes and yams from the ground, use a scrubber to wash it well, peel what needs to be peeled and send it straight to the market or the kitchen.

But what happens when you have 100. You're about to spend the entire day doing that which is going to be very painful. That's what technology is for, to make such a laborious work, very easy and even automatic.

This machine is the peeling machine.

Root vegetables like sweet potatoes need a commercial grade cleaning system if they're be prepared in bulk and that's exactly what this machine is for, and they get the job done for big batches in no time. The machine uses a pretty straightforward system. High pressure water sprays in dense bars and rinses off debris and mud which as I showed in the video, comes from the back s the dirty water you saw.

While this is happening, the crops are placed on the bottom side of the system that uses textured rollers. Those rollers scrub the surface of the vegetables and rotate them to the next step of the process.

The rollers also push the crops forward. At the end of the entire, the dirty water is drained and the clean vegetables are ready to be packed on the other side. You can do this all day and not be as tired as having to deal with 30 pieces.
