I know you already know about the war going on between Iran, Israel and America. War has a way of affecting everything and it has heavily affected agriculture. The war is causing some hold ups in the supply chain and that is also causing urea to be 20% higher than last year. You won't open your browser to check out the price of synthetic nitrogen without seeing a new record for price of nitrogen on the world market. It’s just insane what's going on right now. That's why I wish war wouldn't happen, besides the people dying and the casualties, based on which country is involved, it can affect a natural resource for other nations that have nothing to do with the war but have a transactional relationship with resources in that war zone.

It's the right time to change your opinions and perspective on poultry and cow poop. In 2026 I see them as liquid gold in an on going planting season for crops.
You could buy something today and it might go up in price by tomorrow morning, that is how the economy works today.

Manure is practical because it's a sustainable method when currently we have very few options. Fertilizer is going to remain very high in cost and my fear is that it'll keep going higher. It won't just be a burden for the farmer that needs it but he'll increase price of his crops and it'll become everybody's problem.

Right now, using the manure animals provide is a cost effective way to use the animals we rear for the nitrogen for the soil on the farm.

When a farmer has livestock, he should be able to get nitrogen for his soil free of charge. There was a time when all of this was much simpler and now we hear many truck drivers complaining about the price of fuel to transport all these goods back and forth across the border.

It's a good time to think about those days gone by. The soil is still full of nutrients and prices of everything else are going up because of wars and greed and bad politics.
