Biodiversity conservation means the protection, preservation, and sustainable management of the variety of life here on earth which includes animals, plants, the ecosystems that form them, and microorganisms. There are three levels at which biodiversity exists:

• The genetic diversity that is different within species like different crops, varieties etc

• Species diversity which is in a habitat.

• Ecosystem diversity which is different from the environment like water land, forests, deserts, and oceans.

Conversation aims to ensure that all these forms of life continue to exist and function naturally despite threats like deforestation, climate change, overexploitation, and pollution.
