My own drawn jealousy icon

Jim was a 10 years old boy. His parents have a new baby now and Jim get a new brother. Parents mostly found busy with the new born and Jim feels lonely. He thinks his parents doesn't love him anymore. His loneliness turn into jealousy and he doesn't like his baby brother because parents almost stopped showing love to Jim.

One day Jim's mom told him to take care of his baby brother because she was going to market and it was not far away from the home. Jim's baby brother was crying and Jim was feeling irritated. Jim already don't like his baby brother and he was jealous, so he decide to throw his baby brother to the pond behind the house.

When he threw his baby brother to the pond, his leg slipped and he also fall into the pond. Jim was sinking because he didn't know how to swim. A man saw Jim sinking and saved his life but his baby brother was died. The mother was broken for losing her new born, Jim was guilty but it was too late. A month later Jim's mother also passed away in grief. Jim's jealousy ruined a happy family.

Present jealousy from an unusual or unexpected angle.

The story of Jim's jealousy was really very unexpected and lead him to the child crime at his early age. Parents should give him care and attention, if they gave then this unexpected thing never happened.

What triggers this emotion in your piece?

In my story neglecting elder child or children triggers this emotion. Parents should give equal love and attention to their children and should give more attention to elders instead the new born. Parents should teach their elder child or children to love youngers by showing them love too. Though this is a story but can be found in real life too.

Does your interpretation show jealousy as destructive, protective, or transformative?

Well, yes my interpretation show jealousy as destructive because it cause the destruction of life and family both. Jealousy has bad impact and here a 10 years old kid became jealous because situation forced him to be jealous. Jim's parents was too busy with their new born when they should care about their first child Jim, too.

Muchas Bendiciones..🙏🏻

Thanks dear, Many blessings to you too! ❤️✨💕🦋💝🫶
