Hello my dear Steemians,
Last couple of days are getting warmer and it seems it is coming rush to warm spring day. Have you also noticed that there is more singing of the birds and that only means that many of the birds who fly away for winter time now are back. Since it is much light in the morning we wake up in the morning with the first singing of birds.
Since last couple of years we have a little robin who lives in our garden and actually slowly it got used to us. In spring and summer we do a lot of garden work, cleaning the garden beds from weed and planting either vegetables or flowers. Every time when we are outside and start our work shortly after that we notice our robin who sits not so far from us and just watching. When we go for cup of tea then it goes to the place where the soil was freshly dug and try to find some worms.
Little robin is easily noticeable because of its breast feather that are brought orange colour, even if we are looking through the garden window we can easily recognise him but also see if he is still there where we did work then we try not to disturb him.
Once when I was there and while digging found relatively big worm, I just through it back on lawn, in this moment the little robin flew towards it and caught the worm. That was big for its size and he did not want to eat it but hold it in his beak and then flew away into the hedge. I wonder if he had there some little chicks. We never seen big robin family but mostly one of on and off the second one. But our robin remained with us and it comes every year again.
