Cover crop

 

When we are talking about the farm fields and the work of farmers they work minimum of 8 hours and 7 days a week. Every day it is important to check how the ground, how is the soil and it is like a circle starting with spring when everything wakes up and ground or soil is ready for planting. There are some fields that used for wheat and future flour, we also know that big fields used for vegetables such potatoes. Of course there are many other vegetables and fruits.

When then it is summer time we need to make sure that the plants receive enough water, nutrients and also needed to have treatment against harmful insects and diseases.

*If people worked hard over summer time then they will be rewards with good harvest, that is the time when in the past the whole villages celebrated together the completion of gathering harvest.

In winter time probably that is the most quiet time and farmers can have some rest and enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

For farmers it is important to look after the fields and often after every season the field need to have rest and there should be special plant called cover crop that is different plants that usually help for the soil to recover and get more minerals, to improve the condition of ground for the next year.

Often cover crop is also used in order not to leave the bare soil free and uncovered, because living it without any certain cover that might otherwise be covered with weed. Although it will be green it will not have have nutrients. That is why it is better to used a specially recommended for certain goal and for certain soil special cover crop plants, that is ev ery farmer will decide for his own field.
