🔴 Control, But Make It Personal

In my world, control is everything.

Control over words.
Control over emotions.
Control over outcomes.

That’s what being a lawyer demands.

But there’s another kind of control I’ve been learning — the kind that comes from knowing yourself. From understanding when to be sharp and when to simply let go. When to lead, and when to just exist without expectations.

This moment wasn’t about perfection.
It was about ownership.

Owning my space.
Owning my presence.
Owning every version of who I am — not just the one people expect to see.

Because true confidence doesn’t come from always being in control…
Sometimes, it comes from choosing when not to be.

And that’s a power no courtroom can teach.
