Happy Holy Saturday, everyone! My yellow hibiscus surprised me with two large blooms last night—the timing couldn't be more perfect. It’s truly a miracle this plant is still alive, as I’ve been battling a stubborn pest infestation for two years now. These bugs only seem to target my hibiscus, and nothing I’ve tried—pine soap, various pesticides, matchsticks, or regular rinsing—has worked for more than a couple of weeks.
