7 ELEMENT CONTEST || The Earth by @timgrace
It’s amazing to be here once again after a long while. Amongst all the elements mentioned, I choose to write about the earth.
In my environs, I am mainly surrounded by beautiful green vegetation and so that make me a lover of nature.
The earth gives us a whole lot of benefits. For instance, the very food we eat is gotten from the plants that grow on the earth. Imagine how difficult it would be if there was no means of planting crops. A lot of people earn their living through the outcome of their farm produces especially at a time like this. The cucumber, the plantain, yam, beans, rice, potatoes, etc. are all gotten from the earth.
People who live in rural communities use the earth to build their houses (mud/sand house) now imagine this element never existed, it will be difficult for them to get shelter or a roof over their head.
The bricklayers too need this element to enhance their work. Without sand there will be nothing to mix the cement or gravels with and so building a cemented house will almost be impossible. The earth is where sand is derived from and so, no matter how swampy a particular area can be, the possibility of building is never limited once it is filled accurately with the earth.
The earth embodies every other element thereby making it outstanding and different and the beautiful nature around further helps to make living worth the while. The animals feed on the mother earth and despite the cultivation by human and grassing by animals, our dearest mother–earth remains a jewel of inestimable value. Always giving out in season and out of season.
The earth is my favorite and most preferable element of all.
