Energy Daydreams: Tesla, Solar, Drones

in Photography3 years ago

One of the best things about being an artist who likes science is the freedom to think whimsically. Proof is slower than truth, I say, and there are no doctorate student loans pinning me down to a niche. Yesterday's silent musings were of #neurolinguistic programming and #personality profiles. Today, Tesla coils.

Not because I'm particularly useful or nobel-worthy, but because Tesla liked lightning and hated being touched, too. For that, he is cool with me. #Artist

So I was thinking...

Big Tesla coil towers all over is a fun idea. Utopian, and makes #Perun happy. Okay. But seeing as we don't know how to do that yet, or at least make it safe and efficient, what about this:

Big Tesla coils, somewhere up and over there where people do not get angry-Zeused in the process, in one of those big icey places where there's not much going on.

Instead of powering a lightbulb like Uncle Fester, power batteries. The same kind of batteries that store excess solar power for dim days.

But wait, there's more!

These will be Tron-Transformers-Drone batteries... That are programmed to charge themselves and their for-use batteries, then fly back to civilization, drop off the batteries for use, and... Go back, Jack, do it again.

Also, it would be nice if they had pretty colored LEDs, just because a magical world tends to be more inspired.

Anywho, that's what you get when you cross daydreams with mythological methods and lightweight research.

It's a pretty non commital thought, but what's a girl to do? Here's a #SylviaSelfie for your time.
