I have a friend who will always answer some variation of "fine" when asked how they are, but when you know them long enough you know by the tone of the "fine" whether they're actually fine or just deflecting further questions XD

I guess it's a "fine" line to tread ;>)

Mercurial is a nice one too but I guess most people won't understand and then you need to start explaining, which is what I was trying to avoid here haha
