"Do you think I'm poor, poor, short, beautiful, that I have no soul, no heart?" You are wrong, I have as much soul as you do, and my heart is like yours ...... We are equal with God because we are equal!"
Jane Eyre was a lonely girl, born into a poor priestly family. Her parents died of typhoid fever for a short time. Young Aunt Jane fostered her parents at home, but after the death of her uncle, she became deeply hated by her aunt, and as she and her children were isolated, Jane suffered discrimination and abuse both mentally and physically. Thus, Jane's mother and stubborn confrontation became more open and determined. Eventually, her mother would be sent to Lowood's charity school.
Lowood Charity School is very strict and life is very difficult. Dean is a cold-hearted hypocrite. Jane continued to suffer mental and physical abuse at the orphanage. Children often die at the school due to the harsh living conditions. Jane witnessed the loss of her best friend, Helen.
Many years later, Jane grows up and is now tired of living here, so she advertises for a job as a tutor. Soon she was hired by the housekeeper at Fethan Hall. Jane finally left Lowood Charity School and was happy at Fethan Hall.
The owner of Fethan is often at the Rochester estate and rarely comes home. The only person in the big house is a girl under 10, Adale Varan, who owns Rochester and is Jane's pupil.
One evening Jane goes out for a walk. She meets the owner, whom she has never met. He had just returned from abroad. It was the first time they had met. After that, Jane found out that her host was a moody, temperamental person who treated her badly. The whole house was empty and sometimes a strange laughing sound was heard, with hair standing on the floor. One day Jane was awakened by the sound of laughter in her sleep and found a fire in Rochester's room; Jane woke him up and helped him put out the blaze.
Rochester or drifted away for long periods in the past, but loved to hold family dinners whenever I returned. At one family dinner he went to a beautiful young lady named Blanche. Jane was called to the sitting room, but she received a cold reception from Ranchie's mother and daughter. She endured the humiliation and left the sitting room. At this point, she discovers that she is in love with Rochester. In fact, loving Jane Rochester, he just wants to test Jane's love. When he proposes to Jane, she forces him to marry her. The night before the wedding, Jane sees a woman in front of a mirror dressed in her wedding abomination. The next day, as the wedding in the church quietly proceeds, there is a man who was married 15 years ago. His wife turns out to be a crazy woman locked in a third wardrobe. The law stopped their love, leaving the two in deep pain.
One tragic night, Jane leaves the Fethan estate. On her way to find a new way of life, Jane sleeps in the wind and begs on the road, through thick and thin, before finally being accepted by the Vicar of St John's and teaching in a small school.
Soon Jane learns of her uncle's death, leaving her an inheritance, and discovers that Saint John is her cousin. Jane decides to share the estate equally. Saint John is a fervent believer and plans to go on a mission to India. He asks Jane to marry him and go to India with him. Jane refuses him and decides to return to Rochester.
However, when she returned to the Fethan estate, the house was in ruins and the madwoman had fallen to her death in a fire and was injured in Rochester. Jane found him, married him and lived happily ever after.
