Foreign Film Review: 'The Fall of Moscow'

in LifeStyle4 years ago

The story is about an unidentified flying object from outer space
It passed through the atmosphere and came straight for Earth
Russia sends its air force to shoot it down with missiles
The object loses its ability to fly and crashes into Russian territory.
Russia sent its military to control the area around the crash
and intended to make close contact with the alien.
But things are not as simple as they seem...
Moscow Has Fallen is being promoted as the most spectacular sci-fi disaster since Independence Day.
the most powerful sci-fi disaster epic since
I think it's the most romantic sci-fi romance since You Who Came From The Stars.
The most romantic sci-fi romance since
Not only do the aliens in this film look exactly like humans
but also, quite rightly, speaks Russian.
In addition, there is a great similarity between these two films
They both have an "unbearably handsome alien hero".
This alone overshadows all the illogicality of the film and the plot
Because the viewer's eyes and brain are already functioning
The alien's handsome appearance has already kidnapped them
The trailer for Moscow Has Fallen was a complete sham.
The trailer is a sham.
and the battle against the aliens to defend Earth
It's actually all action.
Ninety per cent of the film is textual.
The focus is on the love between the heroine and the aliens and the bond with her father
The only exciting fight sequences are at the end of the film
The fight sequences are only briefly sparked at the end of the film
I've always been used to seeing American movies that deal with aliens.
This time, Moscow Has Fallen is about aliens descending on Russia in a spacecraft.
The 'fighting man' style is evident when watching the film
The toughness of the people who are not afraid of being beaten up when confronted by the police
The Russian people are not afraid of being beaten up when confronted by the police.
The Russians do not show a single sign of fear throughout the film
Moscow Has Fallen is probably the weakest, most debilitating, and most unlikely of all the sci-fi films I've seen so far.
The aliens are the weakest and most pathetic of all the science fiction films I've seen so far.
Not only is the flying ship shot down by a random missile in the sky
And in the process of repairing it, they get beaten up by a bunch of Russian citizens
They are almost powerless to fight back.
Even though their alien suits and ships look very impressive and powerful
but they are just veneer.
If this ship had landed in another country
Perhaps a better outcome would have been achieved
Moscow Has Fallen leaves much to be desired in terms of logic and coherence throughout the film.
But it was the first time in my life that I had seen a Russian science fiction film.
It was a very special and novel experience for me
It also gave me a sense of the Russian style of toughness and militancy
Plus the trailer gave me completely wrong expectations and directions
Instead, I was pleasantly surprised and laughed out loud.
I recommend that you go and see this alternative production.
And go and see how the Russians acted in "You Who Came From The Stars"!
