Why do children drag and procrastinate on homework?
- Obviously formulated a holiday homework plan, but couldn't stick to it for a few days.
- He clearly said that he could read English for an hour a day, but he never even opened an English book;
- Obviously I was ambitious the day before, and I had to get up early for a run the next day, but the alarm went off and I continued to sleep.
These situations happen to almost every one of us, whether it is a child or an adult, it is difficult to escape this curse. Why are the fates so similar? Just because our "sane brain" is raised by a stepmother.
What does that mean? This has to start with the "three brains theory":
Three-brain theory: In brain science, it is called instinctive brain (also called primitive brain, reptile brain), emotional brain (also called limbic brain, mammalian brain), and rational brain (also called new brain, human brain).
No matter what we do, react, or make any decision, it is the result of the game between these three command centers. The poor "intellectual brain" is just a baby, who can never compete with the instinct brain and the emotional brain.
Because the instinctive brain is relatively perfect at birth, the emotional brain does not become perfect until early adolescence, and the rational brain does not mature until the age of 20 to 25.
Therefore, no matter how much we plan, it will be blocked by the instinctive brain and emotional brain, and we will end up without disease in the end. The only way is to strengthen our intellectual brain.

I really appreciate your write.. I never knew the brain has three dimensions
Thanks for the enlightenment 🙏
