My first pencil sketch for steemit . please rate it and let me know how my little GANESHA looks like

in LifeStyle3 years ago

Here I've tried to portray our beloved hindu deity Ganapati, through a few ink scratches on regular paper. He is the lord of "Ganas" or people. In hindu culture, Ganesh is the first one to be worshipped before any other puja. We believe that his blessings are important to remove any obstacle while we head for something in our lives. He is also known as Siddhidata, that means bestower of accomplishments and success. Here in my art, he is shown to have two hands, one is holding his favourite sweet "modak" and the other hand is in blessing(Ashish) mudra.
