It's amazing the power of a toddler. I have a 3 year old too and having him pretty much locked in the house for the past year and a bit (including 2 birthdays) has broken my heart. Just like your daughter, he loves to be outside.
I hope that your daughter's strength gives you some strength too.
I've been feeling bad for the birthdays and halloween at home too. Thank you, my daughter does help me out a lot.
