I've been able to continue my creative process. I draw a face, trying to maintain a color thread: red, black, and gray. Maybe in the future, it'll be a thread that can unify some of what I paint. I like that color combination.
It's a new experience; it's the fastest I've ever painted. As Kitty suggests, you also gain experience faster, jj. I used some larger brushes, and the experience was incredible.
For this painting, I used a type of canvas that Kitty sent me. It's a 10-sheet notebook, with a good weight. It allows for layering and dries quickly. So it's perfect for painting and adding new layers without having to wait.
Plain cardstock. Dimensions: A4. ten brushes, numbers 14. 10, 4, 8, 9, 3, and 1. Black, red, gray, and white. Shuttle Art acrylic paint in 36 colors.
I couldn't thank @wakeupkitty, a tireless artist, enough for promoting art and literature. Without her help, painting would be impossible.

A small technical error. Unless black absorbs all the colors. I'll work on other mouths and other views. While it rains and my sky remains gray.
Black will for sure absorb all colours, but also show them with a certain light fall.
At least you colour the world on a rainy day.

I've always wanted to paint Marilyn Monroe, but there have been so many versions that it's more of the same. I suppose one day I'll paint her in a painting at least three feet long. To put it in the back of a personal gallery. The color red is intense and allows for a wide range of emotions.
