Frost on the branches / Иней на ветвях

I want to continue our conversation with dear @wakeupkitty and deepen this topic a little. I was lucky to find a very beautiful picture of nature on a walk. During the night, the air temperature dropped by half from -10C to -20C. In addition, the wind was westerly, blowing from the sea, where the air is saturated with moisture. As a result, the crowns of the trees were covered with enium. And it's a whole coat of frost.

That's how my previous post began.
I continue to show this natural beauty.
I suggest you take a closer look at these candied tree branches.
I think that man cannot create anything better than Nature.
We can be great artists, sculptors, creators...
but in the end, we somehow imitate the Creator.
All that remains for me is to capture in the frame what was created without my participation :)

I recommend turning on night mode for viewing
Для просмотра рекомендую включить ночной режим.

I agree with you. And, of course, many inventors and artists agree with us too, because nature is always imitated or taken as an example for new inventions. This also reminds me of a photograph I once took of frozen barbed wire. The result resembled a branch on a fir tree. When I look at your second photograph, it is as if I can see her. You know what it is, but you see something else. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

P.S. I always have my phone on night mode and it looks great!

A hawthorn branch with its thorns will also look like barbed wire if they are all covered with a layer of frost) This is the first association that came to my mind about the wire.
Our consciousness is interestingly organized. We work with associations. If I see something for the first time, I will definitely start comparing it with something familiar :)
And creative people sometimes go the other way, they see something new in the familiar and create something new on this basis too... but in fact, it just seems that way to them. Everything is either already there, or it has been successfully forgotten.

The night mode helps me to concentrate better on the image. I don't turn off this mode on my computer even during the day))

===============

Yes, we always work with associations, and that says a lot about who we are and how we think. Radio station Joe has a game where people can send in a song in which they hear a piece of text or a single word. These are always English-language songs in which a Dutch word or phrase is heard. It is striking how often it is a swear word, or something else rude, or about sex. The radio station itself has a song as an example in which they hear the word 'appelmoes' (apple sauce) repeated over and over again. That also says a lot about people and their way of thinking, and psychologists make good use of that, of course. You know, like a sheet with black spots on it and then you have to say what you see.

I also always have night mode on my phone, as I find the light too bright; it hurts my eyes, and I hear this complaint from many people: the newer their phone is, the worse it is. Computers and laptops seem to be less affected, but even there it has increased, and computer glasses are selling very well again, if you don't notice any difference. This also applies to that extra button with eye protection, which only makes my eyes hurt more. So my trick is to use night mode and not look straight at the screen, but from the side, which makes a big difference. Projecting everything onto the wall is also an option. 🤣

Yes, you're right. We always work with associations and some people use it successfully. I mean, first of all, advertising and manipulation )
Black spots on the sheet... The Rorschach test has gone even further and is used to make a psychiatric diagnosis... So, association is our essence. And when creating a painting, the artist depicts first of all his inner world. Even if it's a landscape from nature.. the choice of landscape and its presentation can say a lot.
Night mode on the phone... I rarely use my phone, so I'll have to find a way to set it to night mode. It's a good idea))

"Great" those psychiatric diagnosis based on... but I don't trust them that much it's in the same category as certain test not meant to test.

The night mode on the phone is easy to find. I believe I read a while ago that Discord is always in night mode from now on because it's more healthy.

))
The Rorschach test is considered to be quite reliable, but interpreting its results requires knowledge and experience that unfortunately few people possess.
This is similar to Grandfather Freud's method of free association :)
And of course it should be used in conjunction with other methods. Only then can the overall result be similar to the truth. But this is not accurate either))
I always see Discord in the black version, but on the phone I need to dig into the settings and I will do it)
