From what I understand analfabetisme increases, many are too lazy to be a bit active at school. Schools also do no longer invest in activating brains... They rather push the "Idiots" on the next class to get rid of them as soon as possible...and here again it is a question of culture, lack of norms and values and not caring about the property of others.
It's not even about someone else's property. This is a disregard for everything in general with a low level of culture... I would say in the absence of culture and upbringing.
Corporations need dumb consumers. The consumer society has been cultivated for a long time and diligently, and now we see the fruits of this attitude to education.

Дело даже не в чужой собственности. Это наплевательское отношение ко всему вообще при низком уровне культуры... я бы сказал, при отсутствии культуры и воспитания.
Корпорациям нужны тупые потребители. Общество потребления культивируется давно и усердно и вот мы видим плоды такого отношения к воспитанию.

I hope you are right but I don't see. Those countries with pollution are also those not making second thoughts about reusing something. They are still in: new is the best and wrecking places, culture/buildings + nature in own country and abroad.
I say: we are doomed.
