It is not a drawing but needlework, the cow parsley is embroidered. Everything you see except around the portraits has been covered with suede. I agree a part looks like being painted or drawn.
With us every girl learned how to do it the generation before me for sure and perhaps some of my age. I know a classmates, a bit, was great at it. Je made covers for pillows.
The earlier generations did embroidery on everything from tablecloths to curtains to duvet covers, cotton napkins or even linen – you name it. All of this is made for the trousseau, that is, the items the girls take with them when they get married.
I would say: make a new one. You do not have a box with items dear to you no matter what they look like?

I really like that because of the lighter colors compared with all the usual bright colors I often seen.
Is trousseau similar to those American quilts. I think they made it for their wedding too. At first I thought it was a good way to use up the scrap fabrics, turned out there can be a story in the patches themselves.
I bought the quilt kit last time. But I have a box of thread and needles. This time I will just buy some fabric and the filling too. I'll go for that Japanese fabric.
My stuff is all over the place. Felt like important keepsake but over the time, many of them felt more like I'm hoarding garbage
It is a good time to use what you have,collected or not. By the way, soon enough everything will be hard to get. Those who have property, cluttered or saved things will be the rich ones.

I tossed away a lot of stuffs recently. Because I had this uneasy feeling like they are some kind of burden to me. Something that's been gnawing at me day and night until I got to it and clear those stuffs and tidied them. I felt much better after that. Will need to do it again because I've been hoarding a lot of different materials from DIY and home improvement stuff. Like some of the things that I kept when I should have discarde them.
I think I saw theme specific fabric scrap sold on our local shopping site. Will share it with you if I make it again.
I'm crazy about Japanese aesthetic, food, anime and such. Last time I used to look for everything white in Ikea but I switched to Japandi theme these days. Mute colors, wood grains and whites.
