Introducing Ayanmo – A New Character Design!
Good evening, everyone!
It's been a while since my last post, and I apologize for my recent inactivity. I’ve been pretty much offline since finishing my papers this Monday, finally catching up on some well-deserved sleep. It’s been absolutely glorious! 😴
I also got back to drawing on Wednesday after feeling as creative (and perhaps a little mischievous) as Merlin. 🙃😂
For those who have been following my journey, you might remember the villain I introduced, Gbadamosi. This time, I wanted to experiment with costume design and created a new character: Ayanmo, which translates to "Fate" (and fittingly, that’s also her real name).
The Inspiration
Ayanmo was actually inspired by one of the comic books I grew up reading:"Ireti" by Comic Republic Nig. Ltd. Initially, I was going to name her "Bidemi," but I realized that was the secret identity of the vigilante Ireti. It’s so cool to see how African comics have evolved; I spent countless hours reading Comic Republic books as a kid, and the influence clearly stuck with me! 😊
The Design Process
I wanted to take this design in a different direction.I decided to give her a pink color scheme, add a skirt and glasses, and remove the arm plate/guard to create a cleaner, more distinct look.
Tools Used:
· App: Ibis Paint X
· Brushes: Airbrush, Felt Pen (Hard)
· Method: I started with a pre-drawn female figure provided by the app to trace and fill, which helped me focus purely on the costume and color design.
You can check out the timelapse video below to see the process from start to finish!
I hope you like her. Ayanmo (which can also mean Destiny) is finally here!
As always, it's a pleasure to receive your support. I hope you're having a great day!

I would say: Welcome @dreeyor and welcome Ayanmo! You wear a cool outfit. I hope it'st too cold and if not the mosquitoes won't bite you.
I like to watch that timelaps video although I have no clue how you made it.
Did you pass your exams? How about your Valentine Miss Math?
❤️🍀
Thanks for the warm welcome, @wakeupkitty! 😊
The timelapse actually saves automatically on Ibis Paint X—I just had to extract it as an MP4 video after finishing the drawing. Then I remembered Steemit doesn't support video uploads, so I had to convert it to a GIF using a GIF maker.
😂 Lol, I don't know what my exam results are yet since they haven't been released. Other levels are still writing their exams, so it'll probably be a while before everything is out with our ca.

Thanks for explaining. If it comes to your exams I keep my fingers crossed and wish you 🍀
Thanks @wakeupkitty 🥰
