Jots from a morning walk

in ᴀʀᴛ & ᴀʀᴛɪꜱᴛꜱyesterday

This morning, while walking back home, I found myself admiring the natural scenery. Today, of all days, I decided I’d pick one element of it to sketch in my notebook.

I drew with a pen, trying my best to replicate the finer details. Ideally, I would have used A2 paper, but my little sister convinced me to give her all my sheets since I hadn't touched them in a while. Lately, I’ve mainly been focusing on digital art since returning to Lagos for the holidays (plus, my paper got wet in an heavy rain and even after it dried it didn't look the same).

Anyway, I actually finished the drawing before sitting down to type this out—so here it is

Creating this piece was partly a test to see how far I could push this pen in terms of texture and line work.
