Drawing of an old man
Hello folks how you all doing, I am here again with yet another mind blowing art. I titled this piece “Old Age” this piece is relatable to everyone and I did a poem for it.

The poem goes like this:
Grandpa’s laugh is deep,
Grandma’s hugs are sweet.
Their hands may shake, their steps gets slow,
But they have so much more to show.
They were once just small like you,
Learning how to tie a shoe.
They fell down and made mistakes,
Tried again for courage’s sake.
Rainy days and sunny weather
Helped their hearts grow strong together.
Every problem, big or small,
Made them stand up tall.
Getting old is not a sigh,
It’s years of learning how and why.
It means you stayed, you cared, and eveb cried,
With love and hope as your guide.
Old age is a beautiful thing,
A crown that time and kindness bring.

progress
Below are my progress work, old people are one of my favorite people to draw and I love spending time with them they can be so tender with their voice, it often seem like a child or baby in old age.
This stage I created a freehand sketch of my drawing process
I started the shading from the hair and to some part of the face of my subject, giving it a unique feel and striking shade.

I finished the shading of the face of my subject, and the shading technique I used was hatching method and a little bit of blurring of my hatch.

final work
This is my final rendering and it a drawing that gives us a striking pose of what old age seem like and it’s a reminder that we will all be in this era someday so embrace it will love and compassion.
