(Can't you see I'm reading?) literally tells her to leave. I would leave immediately, and if she looked for me to say something, I would say (Can't you see I'm busy?). I would never speak to her again. Well, thank goodness that won't happen to me, hahaha.
How come that wouldn't happen to you? Most likely because you already notices she was reading or? Well, if it comes to me I would have dropped the basket at the doorstep or better... went in without a word and aimed at her "kind of" heart.
