Zornat: The Mystical Flame in the Dark Forest | Digital Art
Good evening, dear friends of the #Steemit community. I’m very happy to share with you a new #steemexclusive illustration for the platform. This time, I’d like to introduce you to a character born of my imagination whom I’ve named Zornat—a mysterious woman possessing profound mystical powers. Her gift allows her to summon and manipulate an ethereal energy very similar to fire itself, which bursts forth and flows directly from her fingertips at her complete will. I wanted to portray her in a serene yet powerful moment, channeling her inner flame beneath the cold night sky, and I hope you like it very much:
Muy buenas noches, queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Steemit, Me encuentro muy feliz de poder compartir con ustedes una nueva ilustración #steemexclusive para la plataforma. En esta ocasión, quiero presentarles a un personaje nacido de mi imaginación a quien llamé Zornat, una misteriosa mujer poseedora de profundos poderes místicos, Su don le permite convocar y manipular una energía etérea muy similar al fuego mismo, la cual brota y fluye directamente de entre sus dedos a su total voluntad. Quise retratarla en un momento sereno pero lleno de poder, canalizando su llama interna bajo el frío cielo nocturno, y espero les guste mucho:
PROCESS / PROCESO
For the creative process of this piece, I worked on a medium shot composition focusing on her posture and the energy gathering in her hand. For her design, I gave her striking, long purple hair and deep eyes that match the mystical aura surrounding her. I focused heavily on the smooth shading of her face, jawline, and torso, using soft airbrush blending to create realistic volumes and highlights on her skin and her casual dark crop top.
Para el proceso creativo de esta pieza, trabajé en una composición de plano medio centrada en su postura y en la energía que se concentra en su mano. Para su diseño, le otorgué una llamativa y larga cabellera de color morado e intensos ojos a juego con el aura mística que la rodea. Me enfoqué bastante en el sombreado suave de su rostro, mandíbula y torso, utilizando transiciones delicadas con el aerógrafo para crear volúmenes realistas y luces tanto en su piel como en su vestimenta oscura de estilo crop top.
The magical fire was a key element. I chose a bright pink and magenta palette for this mystical flame to break away from conventional fire colors and enhance the magical theme. I carefully blended the edges of the flame to make it look semi-translucent and added a soft ambient glow that reflects on her hand, arm, and the side of her face, showing how the intensity of her power illuminates her immediate surroundings.
El fuego mágico fue un elemento clave. Elegí una paleta de tonos rosa brillante y magenta para esta llama mística, buscando alejarme del fuego convencional y reforzar la temática mágica. Difuminé cuidadosamente los bordes de la llama para darle un aspecto semi-translúcido e incluí un sutil resplandor ambiental que se refleja en su mano, su brazo y el lateral de su rostro, mostrando cómo la intensidad de su poder ilumina su entorno inmediato.
Finally, the background complements the mysterious night scene. I placed Zornat in a dense forest surrounded by thick, stylized tree trunks painted in desaturated tones. Behind the trees, a deep blue night sky unfolds, filled with hundreds of tiny stars and a bright moonlit glow in the upper corner. This contrast makes the vibrant purple of her hair and the pink light of her mystical fire stand out beautifully as the main highlights of the composition.
Finalmente, el fondo complementa la misteriosa escena nocturna. Ubiqué a Zornat en un espeso bosque rodeada de troncos de árboles gruesos y estilizados pintados en tonos desaturados. Detrás de los árboles, se despliega un cielo nocturno azul profundo salpicado por cientos de pequeñas estrellas y un brillante destello lunar en la esquina superior. Este contraste permite que el morado vibrante de su cabello y la luz rosada de su fuego místico resalten bellamente como los puntos principales de la composición.
