Suficiente procrastinación, he dejado mucho el arte, me he apartado por mucho tiempo, y no es bueno, no es bueno para mi salud mental.
Es por eso que hoy volví a sentarme en mi escritorio con el objetivo de retomar, dibujar algo, pintar algo.
Enough procrastination. I've neglected art for too long, I've distanced myself from it for too long, and it's not good, it's not good for my mental health.
That's why today I sat down at my desk again with the goal of picking it up again, drawing something, painting something.
Dejarlo por mucho tiempo me recuerda que el retomarlo es como volver a aprender, la mano se paraliza. así que este no fue mi primer dibujo después de la gran pausa, tuve que hacer varios antes de quedar con tenía con uno, y aunque sé que me pudo haber quedado mejor, creo que es un gran paso para esta etapa de retomar.
Leaving it for too long reminds me that picking it up again is like learning all over again; my hand freezes. So this wasn't my first drawing after the long break; I had to do several before I settled on one, and although I know it could have been better, I think it's a big step in this process of getting back into it.
For some reason I am always surprised with what watercolour artists come up with, the same counts for them making a sketch first. What did you use to sketch? Will those lines always been noticed? Is this the idea?
What type of paper and paint did you use?
I like what you made though it looks more like a painting and "doodle" combined. Nice colours.
