Something Colourful?
All the black looks nice, but you should paint something colourful the teacher said, try this. Next she sent me a picture of a clown.
Colourful? The clown cries and looks like a tramp.
I don't like like clowns, but I did gave a try.
Can anyone tell me why every photo I took and uploaded on Steemit look weird?

Watercolour paint (a cheap box children use at primary school): Red, brown, yellow, blue, black
Water
Brushes: flat (too soft) size 1/2, round brushes size 1 + 11
Baohong Academic watercolour paper - 180 x 125 mm
Black fineliner - Stranger
White soft eyeliner pencil - M.n (Me Now)

Of course this can be a reason, but the same could count for using only dark colours or certain topics. To me it gives peace of mind and I like black and white photos and black ink drawings.
I can't say that clown looks more colourful just because it isn't painted with black.

Black and white is nice too. I think it takes more skill to produce a black and white that really stands out.
But I guess some people prefer a bit of colour.

Just painting with one colour is indeed not easy and I admire those who can do that very well. It gives me peace of mind in a chaotic world surrounded by shouting colours. It also makes it easier to focus on the drawing itself.

Your teacher could learn more, sorry for my comment. She tells you to try something like that clown, but as you say, the clown looks sad, and clowns are supposed to be happy. That tie looks like it has two pieces of meat in it. Maybe the poor clown was hungry and couldn't reach the meat, hahaha. I'm not being cruel, it's just what I see. A very strange clown.

I agree with you, it's a strange clown. I don't like clowns, and this one would surely not brighten up my day. The Pierrot looks better.

I have done some fixes. You could try next to confirm the issue fixed.
On the one hand, it's easy to draw in black and white. You take a pencil, chalk or paint and you don't have to think about colors and shades. You're just painting.
On the other hand... make a good black-and-white drawing highlighting the main thing, conveying depth, and conveying the play of light... it seems to me that this is much more difficult than using a color palette.
Of course, I could be wrong, the camera is the tool in my hands, and everything is a little different there.

С одной стороны рисовать чёрным по белому просто. Ты берёшь карандаш, мел или краску и тебе не нужно думать про цвета и оттенки. Ты просто рисуешь.
С другой стороны... сделать хороший чёрно-белый рисунок с выделением главного, передачей глубины, передачей игры света... мне кажется, что это гораздо сложнее, чем с использованием палитры цветов.
Конечно, я могу ошибаться, в моих руках инструментом является камера и там всё немного по-другому

I have no clue how to draw with a pencil. According to @aellly it's way easier but it isn't for me. I am afraid I need a human's life to practice. ☹️ a very long one.

I tried it today again after a bit watercolour and acrylic painting...Let's say it's a bit better if I don't count the hair and since I ignore the mouth... LOL let's see where I am in another 6 months.
A skill is acquired only through practical action. After six months of constant practice, there will be a MASTER level :)
