At present, we have many wolves living in the wild here once more. Several years ago, these wolves were released back into nature, and they swiftly began roaming across the land. As wolves prey on sheep, there have been numerous complaints about this. People have grown rather unaccustomed to protecting these predatory animals. Personally, I find wolves to be beautiful creatures, which is why I keep wolfdogs that are closer to wolves than to dogs. Perhaps one day I shall be able to paint them.
The film about this wolf sounds intriguing, though somewhat poignant. I find it rather unique that an animal raised by humans could be accepted by its own kind. Typically, such creatures behave differently.
I'm uncertain to what extent animals and humans can arrange to meet again, but I believe nature's call ultimately holds greater sway than the person who raised the wolf. I don't believe wolves deliberately distance themselves to spare human feelings—that's likely a human projection. Still, it's not unheard of for humans and animals to observe each other's lives from afar, or reappear after years apart. I read it with great interest. As for your artwork, it's absolutely splendid. Perhaps it's best not to compare your paintings to photographs. There's no need to strive for perfect replication.
