RE: Comic blog post

in ᴀʀᴛ & ᴀʀᴛɪꜱᴛꜱyesterday

If you ask me, 1 pen is enough (and something to draw on) unless it's out of ink. An artist is an artist which shows by his creativity and talent, not the expensive or high amount of tools he has at hand. If it comes to it simplicity is still the key and fantasy does the rest.
Comics are great in black (or blue) and white and so are many paintings.

I hope you continue and if you take a break from the comic draw something else. Only if you keep drawing skills improve.

Btw it's normal to go up and down... I asked many talented people and they all say that they have those days whatever they create looks like... what they do is taking a break and try hours or the next day again.
I wish you all the best.

Just don't give up. We all have those dark, depressing days, running out of time, inspiration and people willing or able to give us a push (or inspiration). If you can't continue with the cartoon than just scratch and create the big nothing (or void) which is very hard I can tell you.
