RE: Pine trees in the frost / Сосны в инее
The woodstove is in the kitchen and can only make a part of the house warm. To make the pump run to activate the floor heating (again only in a part of the house (kitchen, living and my son's bedroom) the stove should reach nearly 50 degrees celsius which turns out to be hard. (not impossible but there are days we cannot make the fire burn). We also deal with the price of firewood. It costs about 650 euros to buy and it's not enough to heat the entire day or 6-7 months per year (October - April). We do what most people do.. sit in the cold because we cannot afford paying the bills (electricity is also sky high and the electric heaters use a lot of Kwh (about 10 times more than I use during summer/those periods we don't have to heat a few hours).
In average I start heating before the kids arrive home, if the sun shines or everyone is late we don't at all. Negative of all houses I lived in an live is that even if the sun shines the house remains cold (good for high temperatures but not if the biggest part of the year is closer to winter than anything else).
Every bit of sun is welcome (it's another grey day, time for a cup of tea).
+50C for an oven is very low. It feels like a slightly hot oven...
we have a device like a boiler in Russia. This is a small furnace that heats the water flowing through the batteries. Maybe that's what you mean when you talk about the stove in the kitchen?
Yes...
it's hard to live without heat in the house. Then wool and fur clothes can help out.
I don't even know what advice I can give you...
I hope the sun will be kind to you :)
