I agree there some able to create great buildings with Lego and it must be awesome if this your job. Ever been in Legoland?
What I do not find or what doesn't trigger fantasy is building a copy of what someone else did or what is in a box. That's more practicing being a copycat.
However, the children reproduce what comes in the box; this is how they learn to concentrate and analyze how to place each block.
